Chet Roden is a professor, archaeologist, author, and pastor. He was the co-editor and contributor for Biblical Leadership: Theology for the Everyday Leader. Roden also authored Elementary Biblical Hebrew and 30 Days to Genesis. Since earning his Ph.D. in the Old Testament, Roden has been teaching Old Testament, Archaeology, Leadership, and Hebrew for well over a decade. Roden enjoys participating in archaeological excavations and leading tours to Israel. His archaeological work includes the excavations at Hazor, the Tel Gezer Water System, and the new work at Tel Hadid. Roden’s church ministry involvement began when he was 18 years old and he has been a pastor since 1991. His pastorates were in North Carolina, Virginia, and Alabama.
