DAY ONE - THURSDAY - NOV. 5th

  • Arrival in Israel

  • Jonah's journey, Tabitha's restoration to life, and Peter's conversion of the gentiles all began in Jaffa. Tour through Jaffa's narrow alleyways and enjoy the view over the sea.

DAY TWO - FRIDAY - NOV. 6th

  • Visit historic Caesarea Maritima - the Roman Capital of Judea, where Peter followed God's leading to visit Cornelius (Acts 10) and where he proclaimed the gospel to the Romans (Acts 24-26).

  • Visit an oil farm in Kibbutz Magal 

  • Visit Nazareth Village - a hands-on experience that transport guests to life in a Jewish village in Galilee two thousand years ago.

  • Visit Mount Precipice - the traditional site of the cliff from which an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus after His bold proclamation in the Nazareth synagogue.

  • Overnight in Galilee

DAY THREE - SATURDAY - NOV. 7th

  • Visit Magdala - an ancient village, where Jesus' follower Mary Magdalene lived

  • Journey to Capernaum - visit the first-century synagogue where Jesus preached and healed the epileptic boy.

  • Visit the Tabgha Church - known as the site of the Miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes

  • Visit the Mount of Beatitudes - the place where Jesus delivered the famous Sermon on the Mount.

  • Board a wooden sailing boat, fashioned after the ancient fishing vessels, for a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee.

  • Free Time

  • Overnight - in Galilee

DAY FOUR - SUNDAY - NOV. 8th

  • Look out from Mount Arbel on the road from Nazareth to Capernaum. A sheer cliff is rising majestically above the Sea of Galilee with a magnificent view of the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon.

  • Visit Banias, the site of ancient Caesarea Philippi on the feet of Mount Hermon, where Jesus asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" (Matthew 16:13).

  • Overnight in Galilee

DAY FIVE - MONDAY - NOV. 9th

  • Visit the Balm of Gilead Farm - led by Guy Erlich who is engaged in a grass-roots project: reviving ancient plants mention in the Bible. Think frankincense and myrrh, plus a few others. Opportunity to buy incenses and anointing oils.

  • Baptism in the Jordan River: "Then Jesus came from Galilee down to the Jordan to be baptized" (Matthew 3:13).

  • Visit Qasr el Yahud/Betharaba - the traditional site where John the Baptist baptized and where Joshua enteredthe Promised Land with the Jewish people

  • Visit Qumran - where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. A fascinating look into the Jewish world during the time of Jesus offering a framework to understand Jesus' message and the practices of the early church

  • Swim and float in the Dead Sea

  • Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY SIX - TUESDAY - NOV. 10th

  • Drive to the tip of the Mount of Olives - known as the site from where Jesus ascended to heaven after His resurrection. Panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives and descend the "Palm Sunday Road" to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed on the night of His betrayal.

  • Visit the Garden of Gethsemane - Via Dolorosa, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, built on the site where the crucifixion of Jesus on Golgotha is marked.

  • Visit the Western Wall - shopping in the Old City

  • Visit the Herodian Mansion - (Whol Museum) the house of a very wealthy first-century Jewish leader which was destroyed in Titus' fire in 70AD. Probably the house of the High Priest's as described in the Biblical account of Jesus' trial. A large multi-storied house, with a large meeting room that could have held court. The room is adjacent to a large courtyard where someone might warm themselves by a fire and observe what was going on at the trial.

  • Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY SEVEN - WEDNESDAY - NOV. 11th

  • Visit Bethlehem - the Church of Nativity and Shepherd's fields.

  • Drive to Jerusalem

  • Visit the Yad Vashem - Holocaust Memorial Center including the Avenue of the Righteous and the Children's Memorial

  • Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY EIGHT - THURSDAY - NOV. 12th

  • Visit Herodion - Tour the excavation of the Palace of Herod the Great, later used as the Palace of Pontius Pilate and the more authentic site of the Praetorian and the verdict of Jesus.

  • Drive through the Elah Valley - also called the valley of the Terebinth, the place where David fought with Goliath

  • Visit Neot Kdumim - the world's only Biblical Landscape Reserve, which embodies the panorama and power of the landscapes which shaped the values of the Bible and provided the rich vocabulary for expressing those values. Learn about sheep herding and the custom of anointing sheep with oil. Learn about the Seven Species of the Bible and the use of oils and incenses.

  • Farewell dinner in Jaffa

  • Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport
